2 months have passed since my last post, much longer than I had intended...these two months have been filled with significant spiritual growth...through God I am learning to rest in the shadow of His presence...I've been learning if you 'delight in the Lord He will give you the desires of your heart.' Has it been perfect, definitely not, but that is where God's grace and mercy are felt.
The next few months are going to be exciting in many different ways. Sunday I start a series about something I have struggled with in so many areas of my life, Stewardship...when we hear this word we think one of its synonyms is 'money.' Stewardship goes much deeper than this...we should be good managers of our time (huge struggle), we should be good managers of our bodies (another difficulty) on and on...so I will enter this sermon series as much a student as a messenger...I started this paragraph w/ "exciting" as I type the butterflies are churning...God is moving
